      Superintendent will talk about 2010-11 budget

      A ‘Deviled Egg’ ‘Tickled Pink’ in a ‘Loud Outfit’
           ‘Keep an Eye Out” for a “Brainstorm” as 16 area high school art students showcase their “True Colors.” Check out the exhibition on view in the CVA Gallery as part of the Monmouth County Arts Council’s Teen Arts Festival, which takes place March 18 and 19 at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft. This exhibition is on view through March 26.

            MARLBORO — John Smith mingled with Erik the Red, Sir Francis Drake and many other adventurous individuals during the Robertsville Elementary School’s ExplorerMuseum. Fifth-graders in Sandy Plietz’s class recently took their curriculum of learning about explorers to a whole new level of fun.

      String orchestra gives pupils chance to shine
            MARLBORO — The enchanting sounds of string instruments can be heard in the halls of both middle schools in the Marlboro K-8 School District. The string orchestra at the district’s schools was started in 2001 when teacher Katie Gussman came on board to direct the children in their musical endeavors.
