Museum to exhibit art of mother & daughter FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP — “From Generation to Generation: The Enamel Art of Marilyn Druin and Erica Druin,” a spring art exhibit of nearly 50 enamel jewelry, goblets and other art objects created by the late Marilyn Druin and her daughter Erica Druin, will run from March 23 through April 25 at the Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County, 30 Mounts Corner Drive, Freehold Township. Marilyn Druin (1941-2001) was an internationally acclaimed enamelist whose designs in metal and glass are represented in numerous private collections throughout the United States and Europe, as well as in the collections of the Smithsonian and the Newark Museum, according to a press release from the museum. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Erica Druin and hear opening remarks by Ursula Ilse-Neuman, curator of jewelry at New York City’s Museum of Arts and Design, and Ulysses Grant Dietz, senior curator and curator of decorative arts at the Newark Museum. The fee for this event is $18 for museum members and $36 for nonmembers. The exhibit will be open to the public during museum hours, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fees for the exhibit are $3 for museum members and $5 for nonmembers.
