Basketball game to benefit DARE MANALAPAN — The Manalapan All- Stars will square off on the basketball court against the Harlem Wizards at 7 p.m. March 25 in a game to benefit the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program. The Manalapan All-Stars will include teachers from the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District, Manalapan High School and the Manalapan Police Department. The game will be played at Manalapan High School, 30 Church Lane. Student tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. General admission tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Checks may be made payable to Manalapan Township DARE. Tickets available at all Manalapan-Englishtown elementary schools; at Manalapan High School; at Four Boys Ice Cream, Tennent Avenue, Englishtown; and at LaRosa Chicken and Grill, Gordons Corner Road, Manalapan. Tickets are also available at the Manalapan Police Department in the municipal building, Route 522, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Souvenirs and refreshments will be available at the game. The Harlem Wizards will sign autographs after the game. Cameras are welcome. The event is open to the entire community. The Harlem Wizards were founded in 1962. The team’s mission is “to create an awe-inspiring basketball experience for all, while producing wildly successful events and fundraisers.” The Wizards said their brand of basketball features “tricks, hoops and alley-oops.” For more information, call Manalapan police Lt.
