Ralph W. Ruggiero

Mr. Ruggiero, 71, of Jackson, died Feb. 1, 2010, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Union City, he had resided in Manalapan for 30 years before moving to Jackson four years ago. Prior to retiring, Mr. Ruggiero was in the automobile business as well as a local real estate investor. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Eleanor; a son and daughterin law, Ralph and Jennifer of Manalapan; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Robert Krohn of Manalapan; and three grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Memorial donations may be made to the Samaritan Center, 211 Route 522, Manalapan, NJ 07726. Arrangements were by Freeman Funeral Home, Manalapan.
