John Mangano Mr. Mangano, 89 of Freehold and formerly of Old Bridge, died Jan. 23, 2010, at home. He retired as a Preston truck driver for 40 years with the Teamsters Local, Jersey City. In retirement, Mr. Mangano, along with his family, owned and operated Mangano’s Hair Design, Manalapan. He also drove deliveries for Tuscany Food, Manalapan, and was a member of the American Legion Post 177, Old Bridge. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Marina Mangano; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sabrina and her husband, Bob Caltabellta, of Old Bridge, Raine and her husband, Mike Haslach, of Freehold, and Rhonda and her husband, Anthony Provenzano, of Boca Raton, Fla.; and three grandsons. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Farmingdale. Entombment followed in Holmdel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Holmdel. Memorial contributions may be made to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road, 2nd Floor, Princeton, NJ 05840. Arrangements were by the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. |
