Felice Cafasso

Mr. Cafasso, 73, of Howell, died Feb. 1, 2010, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Mr. Cafasso was born in Rofrano, province of Salerno, Italy, and came to the United States in 1962, settling in Brooklyn, N.Y. He moved to Howell in 2007. Mr. Cafasso was a mixer for American Bakeries “Taystee Bread,” Flushing, N.Y., for 30 years, retiring in 1992. He was predeceased by two brothers, Antonio and Angelo. Surviving are his wife, Giovanna; two sons, Frank Cafasso of Staten Island, N.Y., and Peter and his wife, Rosanna Cafasso, of Howell; two daughters, Josephine Cafasso of Jackson, and Rosa Durso and her husband, Monty, of Howell; four brothers, Giovanni, Guiseppe, Raffaele and Francesco; three sisters, Antonia, Maria and Carmela; and five grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Veronica’s Roman Catholic Church, Howell, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Veronica School, 4217 Route 9, Howell, NJ 07731. Arrangements were by Clayton & Mc- Girr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
