      Open Hearts for Open Door Food Pantry
            Jeanne Yaecker, director of the Freehold Open Door Food Pantry, recently accepted a check for $7,310 from St. Rose of Lima Parish, Freehold, on behalf of pantry. St. Rose of Lima Church Finance Committee Chairman Alec Taylor presented the proceeds to Yaecker, which were raised for Open Door during a collection that took place the weekend of June 6-7.

      YMCA October Family Fest changed to Oct. 24
            The YMCA's annual October Family Fest and Vendor Craft event, which was postponed due to poor weather, will be held Oct. 24 (rain date Oct. 25) from noon to 5 p.m. at Camp Arrowhead, 521 Route 520, Marlboro. Admission is $5 per car. The event will include hayrides, pumpkin painting, moon bounce, face painting, refreshments, games and more.

            A fall boutique hosted by CentraState Associated Auxiliaries will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 24-25 at the Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus, 901 W. Main St., Freehold. There will be 50 vendors selling items and services that include designer shoes, antiques, scrubs, makeup and skin care, gold and silver buying, clothes, toys, books, memorabilia and more.
