Marlboro to host Multicultural Day
      Marlboro Township will be host its second annual "Marlboro Multicultural Day" Nov. 15, at the Marlboro High School from 12:30 to 4 p.m. There will be cultural exhibits, food and entertainment. Program will teach reading of Hebrew
      Throughout the month of November 2009, members of Western Monmouth's Jewish community will gather at Freehold Jewish Center. Broad Street, Freehold, to participate in the only continent-wide campaign aimed at teaching North American Jews to read the Hebrew language.

Fundraiser to support breast cancer research
      Four Boys Ice Cream and Luncheonette, 4 Tennent Road, Englishtown, will host a fundraiser in honor of LuAnn Becker, a breast cancer survivor diagnosed in 2008.       The Manalapan Monster Mania Halloween event is scheduled for Oct. 22 and 23 at the Manalapan Recreation Center, Route 522. The event will be held rain or shine. Township officials noted that the recreation brochure lists the dates incorrectly. All Monster Mania activities are free of charge.
