Howell artist's works on display at library
      The Wall branch of the Monmouth County Library, 2700 Allaire Road, will present an exhibition of 40 mixed-media artworks by Howell artist Carolyn Tischer Bartlett from Sept. 1 through Oct. 1. The public is invited to attend a reception at the Wall Library to meet the artist and discuss her art and career on Sept. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m., free of charge.

Golf outing to benefit Morganville UMC
      The eighth annual Don Marvel Charity Golf Outing will be held Oct. 5 at Rossmoor Country Club in Monroe. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, awards, prizes and use of golf carts will be included in the $150 fee. Sponsorships, prize donations, and promotional giveaways are welcome. All proceeds will benefit the Morganville United Methodist Church.

Freehold Art Society to exhibit at library
      FREEHOLD — The Freehold Art Society will exhibit works of art at the Freehold Public Library, East Main Street, from Sept. 15 through December. The exhibit is free and open to the public and may be viewed during library hours. The exhibit is sponsored by The Around the Corner Art Center, Freehold Township.
