Lakewood stadium to host boat expo
      LAKEWOOD — The BlueClaws and Baywood Marina will bring a new boat sale event to the Jersey Shore when they host the Jersey Shore Boat Sale and Expo from Sept. 18-20 at FirstEnergy Park, Lakewood. The event will feature new and used boats as well as boating accessories for sale by local marine retailers.

Volunteers sought for park maintenance
      Volunteers ages 16 and older are now being sought for the Monmouth County Park System Trails Maintenance Corps. Volunteers will help preserve the trails within the Park System. A training session will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 3 at Huber Woods Park, Browns Dock Road, in the Locust section of Middletown. There is no fee to attend this session.
