      It is not too early to be thinking about the 2009-10 season if you are a high school basketball coach. Coaches, players and fans got a preview of the upcoming girls Shore Conference season when Red Bank Regional High School, Little Silver, hosted a tournament that attracted many of the top programs in the Shore Conference.

      Two baseball teams that mirrored each other on the diamond played for the Little League Junior League Eastern Regional Tournament championship last week at Michael J. Tighe Park, Freehold Township. The players on the teams were 13 and 14 years old. The format for the tournament was double elimination.
