      • Free peripheral artery disease screenings will be offered at 6 p.m. April 22 at the Star and Barry Tobias Health Awareness Center, 901 West Main St., Freehold Township. Call 732-308-0570 to register.

      A giant spring yard sale will be held April 25 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (rain date April 26) in the front parking lot of the Park Avenue Elementary School, Park Avenue (Route 33), Freehold. Anyone interested in selling gently used and/or new items may reserve a table space at a cost of $10 each. Participants should bring their own table and be ready to begin setting up at 7 a.m. All proceeds from the rental of space and sale of snacks will benefit the PTO, which supports student activities and programs at the school. Those interested in renting a space can call 732-308-3511. The deadline for space rentals and payment is April 22.

      • State Sen. Jennifer Beck will host a satellite office on April 22 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan. Beck will be on hand to answer questions and to offer information about services available to New Jersey residents. All are welcome to attend.

      • Kiddie Academy, 89 Village Center Drive (Raintree shopping center, West Main Street), Freehold Township, will host a grand re-opening celebration from noon to 4 p.m. April 25.       • Free SAT/ACT practice tests will be offered by the Princeton Review at locations throughout central New Jersey in honor of National Testing Day on April 25. Open to all high school students.       MS Manalapan AZA chapter 2068 of the B'nai B'rith youth organization will host a party for all Jewish sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students in the area from 8-11 p.m. April 25 at Temple Beth Shalom, 108 Freehold Road, Manalapan. The admission charge of $15 per person will include music by B-Brothers Entertainment and refreshments.       An early 19th-century spring festival will be held at the Historic Village at Allaire State Park, Route 524, Wall Township, from noon to 4 p.m. April 25 (rain date April 26). Event will feature food vendors, picnic area, market, general store, bakery and demonstrations.       • The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County, 310 Mount's Corner Drive, Freehold Township, will present Harvey Hauptman speaking about "Jews In Sports" on April 26 at 2 p.m. Hauptman's career was spent in radio broadcasting at WCTC-AM in New Brunswick and then for 33 years at WCBS-AM Newsradio 88 in New York, first as a writer and producer, and then as a news, sports and business reporter, and as a news anchorman.       The 4-H Puppetry Club, a free club for children in grades one through three, will meet monthly at the Monmouth County 4-H office, 4000 Kozloski Road, Freehold Township, April 25, May 16 and June 13.       Doo-wop music will be featured at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan, at 2 p.m. April 26 in a concert featuring RB Express. RB Express is a five-man vocal band whose rhythm and harmony talents range from soft ballads to toe-tapping dance music.       "Daylilies for Northern Rebloom" will be presented by the Garden State Daylily Growers Club at 2 p.m. April 26 at the Monmouth County Park System's Deep Cut Gardens, Red Hill Road, Middletown.
