Wemrock Orchards hosts Easter egg hunt

Wemrock Orchards, 300 Route 33 West, Freehold Township, will host a complimentary Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. sharp April 11 at the Wemrock Orchards strawberry farm, located 400 yards west of the country store.

Register early at Wemrock Orchards from April 4-11 until noon. After that, registration will be accepted at the farm from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participating groups will be divided by age. One will be for children under age 4 and the other will be for ages 5-9. Eggs will contain treats and several grand prizes.

Complimentary activities will be available for families including a visit from the Easter Bunny and looking at farm animals such as goats, chickens, a bunny and some newly hatched Easter chicks. Hayrides will run continuously from noon to 2 p.m.

In addition, a dog agility show will be provided by Anna Perez of Crazy for Canines. All are invited to watch as Anna and her dogs fly through tires, leap over drums, soar through tunnels and scale a 9-foot Aframe. Shows will be at 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Details: www.wemrockorchard.com.
