      Yosi Levin to perform at kids' concert, dance
            Yosi Levin, children's rocker, will host a concert/dance party April 5 at 2:30 p.m. at Temple Rodeph Torah, 15 Mohawk Drive, Marlboro.       Preschoolers jump to raise money
            In their first year participating in the Arthritis Foundation's Jingle Bell Jump, more than 100 preschoolers jumped for juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA) at the Goddard School — Pond Road branch, Freehold Township, in December.

      Register for Freehold Vacation Bible School
            FREEHOLD — The First Presbyterian Church of Freehold, 118 W. Main St., is accepting registration for Vacation Bible School, Camp EDGE. The program, which is open to ages 3 through adult, will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 27-31 at the church. The cost is $10 per person with family discounts available.

            PSEG GreenFest 2009, A New Jersey Celebration, will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 3-5 at the Garden State Exhibit Center, 50 Atrium Drive, Somerset. The event will offer workshops, programs and more than 125 exhibits showcasing green products, services and information for consumers, business and communities.

      Spaghetti dinner aids Freehold firefighter
            The Freehold Fire Department will hold a spaghetti dinner April 4 from 5 to 10 p.m. in honor and support of its junior member Steve Correia, who suffered critical injuries from a motor vehicle accident. Money raised from the dinner and donations will go to assist in paying bills for his recovery.

      Local woman to host benefit for sick kids
            Melissa Collins of Freehold, a student at Farleigh Dickenson University, Madison campus, is organizing a fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Collins is a pre-med student who is studying to be a pediatric cardiologist.

The new recreation office is adjacent to the parking lot of the Manalapan Recreation Center expansion.       CentraState Auxiliary offers scholarships
            The CentraState Associated Auxiliaries Scholarship Program is offering three scholarships to individuals who live and volunteer in the CentraState Medical Center service area. Two scholarships are being awarded to high school seniors and a third to an adult who is returning to college. All candidates must be pursuing a career in the health care field.

      Freehold AAUW seeks used book donations
            Donations of used books are being accepted for the annual Freehold American Association of University Women used book sale. Adult fiction, children's fiction and nonfiction books are welcome; textbooks are not accepted. Profits from the sale are used by the Freehold AAUW for national and local scholarships and local community projects.
