      Artisan studio SPCA benefit continues

The Valentine's Day art show at Artisan Studios, 9 North Main St. (Route 79), Marlboro, was such a great success that they will be offering it again on March 29 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The show "ANimaLgination" is all about animals. The exhibit features several drawings, pastel paintings, stuffed animals and papier mache figures of dogs and cats to help remind the visitors to care for and support, possibly adopt these pets. The funds collected will all go directly to the Monmouth County SPCA located in Eatontown. The art school is hoping for another strong turnout in the next show so that the shelter can be helped significantly.

Each time a donation to the SPCA is made at the show the donor will sign a Paws for Life ticket, which will be displayed as a border along the walls throughout the studio. The staff and students at Artisan Studio are hoping to see the proceeds keep growing throughout the next few weeks until the show ends. Details: 732- 294-0234. Make checks payable to Monmouth County SPCA.
