Mrs. Sutterfield was born in Newark and had lived in Irvington and Glen Ridge before moving to Freehold Twp. 13 years ago. Mrs. Sutterfield was a bookkeeper and payroll clerk for Toyota Motor Sales, Port Newark, NJ, retiring in 1998. From 1998 to December, 2008, she was a sales associate for Macy’s, Freehold, NJ. Mrs. Sutterfield was a former treasurer for the Old Oaks II, Raintree Homeowners Association, Freehold, NJ.

She is predeceased by her Husband, Douglass, in 1992. She is survived by her 2 Sons & 2 Daughters-In-Law: Peter & Patricia Craig of Palm Coast, FL, David & Elizabeth Craig of Howell, NJ, 5 Grandchildren: Michael, Stephanie, John, Rory & Thomas and1 Great Granddaughter: Sierra.

Service Information: Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp., NJ, on Sunday, March 1, 2009, from 2 – 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM. Friends and relatives are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joann’s name may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 6110 Executive Boulevard – Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852-9813 and would be appreciated.
