Trump should get a chance at hospital site Criticism rose at suggestions that Marlboro officials should bring the "talents" of a Donald Trump to resolve disposition of 411 acres on Route 520 once housing Marlboro's psychiatric hospital. Marlboro Township's March 30 deadline for their alleged sixmonth exclusive contract for its potential purchase is approaching and yet unsubstantiated rumors that the state may stand ready to demolish existing structures on its land ponders the thought as to whether Trenton may have actually arrived at a solution to their dilemma by deciding to place the hospital property up for public auction. Budget deficits surely must be an incentive for such action, but only on a "buy it as you now see it toxic wasteland basis." Obviously Trenton, logically speaking, has never been prepared to pick up the tab for cleaning up its toxic mess. With the 10-year struggle of Marlboro's officials charged with the task of purchasing the land never resolved, this state and township twin scenario appears to illustrate an eventual "winner take all" public auction. In contrast to the hospital property eternal stalemate, we're witnessing a rapid transformation taking form at the Trump National Golf Course at Colts Neck under the guidance and general supervision of "The Donald." It has become somewhat amusing watching Colts Neck officials bending and racing to provide Donald Trump almost carte blanche approvals in planning, zoning or major site changes, while officials attempt to create the illusion they are in control reigning in Mr. Trump's dynamic push actions.
Actually Mr. Trump has energized his entrepreneurial proven skills, rapidly moving forth to complete his goals sought. |
