Mrs. DeSanctis was born, raised and had lived in downtown Brooklyn, NY, before moving to Farmingdale in 1979. She was a parishioner of St Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Farmingdale, NJ. Mrs. DeSanctis was loved by everyone who knew her. She worked part-time at A & S in Brooklyn, NY
She is predeceased by her husband, Emanuel “Jack”, in 1999, a brother, Rocco M. Catalano, in 2008 and a son-In-Law, Henry Montuori in 2006. She is survived by 1 Son & Daughter-In-Law: Carmine & Joy DeSanctis of Belmar, NJ, 1 Daughter: Mary Montuori of East Greenwich, Rhode Island, 1 Sister: Rose Scoma of Lancaster, PA, 7 Grandchildren: Marie, Anthony, Matthew, Angela, Stephen, Suzanne & Rocco and 7 Great Grandchildren
Service Information: Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp. on Sunday, Feb. 8th, from 2:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather on Monday, February 9th, at 9:00 AM for the Rite of Committal followed by her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Chapel, North Main Street, Farmingdale, NJ.
