FRHSD school board's actions appear to be at odds
      I read the article in the newest News Transcript, "FRHSD Looking for Solar Panels to Help Save Money" (Jan. 21), concerning the Freehold Regional High School District looking at solar panels to save money and "go green." I attended that (Board of Education) meeting and had to laugh to myself while listening to the presentation.

Little changes can make an environmental difference
      I recently attended the celebratory reception for the son of some good friends. The reception was very enjoyable and not over the top. Toward the end of the evening, as is common at bar mitzvahs, communions, Sweet 16's, weddings, etc.

      Kudos and many thanks for your look back at the typographical and grammatical gaffes and near-gaffes in the Dec. 30 issue of the News Transcript!
