'Saving of Scrooge' to be performed for free
      The Drama Ministry of Monmouth Worship Center will present an original production of "The Saving of Scrooge," a modern version of a beloved tale, at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 20 and 21. The performances will be held at the church, located at 176 Route 79, Marlboro.

Winners of statewide Idol contest record CD
      The winners of Rock'n Music Idol 2007-2008, a statewide talent search for New Jersey's most impressive musicians ages 7-17, are finalizing a CD of original songs scheduled to be released by the new year. The CD, which will feature five tracks, is being recorded at Circle K Productions with producer Frank Slater.

Author will share Kosher meal recipes
      Jamie Geller, author of "Quick and Kosher: Recipes," will share her chef secrets to produce a fabulous gourmet meal. Attendees will sample some of her delicious recipes as Geller sprinkles her own inspiring story of how a young HBO executive entered into marriage and kosher cooking without knowing a spatula from a saucepan.
