I recently attended a Freehold Regional High School District School Board of Education Imeeting. The meeting was a combination of extraordinary achievement and disappointing conduct. On Dec. 2 I had the pleasure of attending an invitational band and chorus concert at Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center, New York. The Marlboro High School Concert Band was one of five tri-state participants. This is the second time Marlboro has been invited to this prestigious holiday concert. More ... On behalf of the board of trustees, volunteers and clients of Freehold Area Open Door, I would like to thank the community for their generous outpouring of donations for Thanksgiving. As the holiday season approaches, Santa Claus always seems to pay a visit to town on top of a shiny red fire truck. The local fire departments volunteer their time and help Santa visit.
