      Photos with Santa fundraiser Dec. 13
            Local Petco stores will offer pet photos with Santa 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 13, with partial proceeds benefiting local animal welfare organizations. Customers will receive a framed digital photo (while supplies last) for $8.95 plus tax, $5 of which benefits animal shelters.

      Freehold AAUW seeksused book donations
            Donations of used books are being accepted for the annual Freehold American Association of University Women used book sale. Adult and children's fiction and nonfiction books are welcome; textbooks are not accepted. Profits from the sale are used by the Freehold AAUW for national and local scholarships and local community projects.

      Santa will distribute gifts in Freehold
            Santa will be visiting homes in Freehold from Dec. 14-20 with the help of Goodwill Hook and Ladder Engine Company 1, West Main Street. As a courtesy to local households that make a donation of $15 to the fire company, they will give Santa a ride in a fire truck so he can personally deliver gifts supplied by each resident.

      Management agency seeks talented kids
            Molle Management Talent and Model Agency will host an open talent call noon to 5 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Jersey Shore Arts Center, corner of Main Street and Main Avenue, Ocean Grove. The agency refers clients ages 5-19 to audition for film, television, commercials, print, musical theater and voiceovers.

            Kateri Environmental Center, Marlboro, will host its annual New Years Eve event 7- 8:30 p.m. Dec. 31. Ring in the new year with a streamside ritual that has become a Kateri tradition. Attendees will float their troubles and cares down the Tan Vat Brook as they prepare for the coming year. Dress for the outdoors.
