T-shirt sale at Colts Neck H.S. aids charity

Colts Neck High School physical education teachers Christine Conover, Loni Goncalves, Michelle Vitale, and Kim Walter presented Monica Smith of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, a check for $1600. The monies were raised by a schoolwide sale of pink T-shirts in honor of Breast Cancer AwarenessMonth. Over 300 students and staff wore the pink T-shirts on Oct. 31— the final day of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. According to Smith, the generous donation will provide 16 women with lifesaving mammograms.
