      'The Miracle Worker' on stage in Colts Neck
            Join the Colts Neck Cougar Catwalkers at Colts Neck High School Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 22 at 2 and 8 p.m. as they perform William Gibson's "The Miracle Worker," a story based on the inspiring life of Helen Keller (played by Arielle Strauss), a girl reduced to being deaf and blind due to illness as an infant.

      Breakfast program to honor WWII veterans
            The Lt. Seth Dvorin Post 972 of the Jewish War Veterans (JWV) of the USA will host a program honoring all its WWII veterans at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 9. The breakfast will take place at the Chai Building located at 46 Topanemus Road in Marlboro. The post is named after Army Lt. Seth Dvorin, who was killed in action in Iraq in 2004.       Food and coat drive will assist the needy
            Raceway Storage is conducting a food drive and coat drive through Nov. 15. Donations of nonperishable foods as well as clean, reusable coats and jackets to benefit local organizations are currently being accepted. Donations can be dropped off during store hours, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
