Manalapan mayor listened to concerns and took action
      Fact: Out of every 100 Boy Scouts, two achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. The final and most difficult requirement of becoming an Eagle Scout is "The Eagle Project." This requires the scout to design, seek approvals, price, purchase, schedule and manage a project that benefits the community at large and has longevity.

      The Draconian reactionary BOCA code inspection review proposed by the Freehold Borough mayor's appointee candidate and his three-term incumbent running mate is impossible to pull off. Look at the numbers. They propose to have 1,900 units inspected by three agents, which will require each code enforcement agent to inspect about 630 rental units per year.

Grid coach's action punishes boy for religious observance

      My son plays in the Manalapan Pop Warner football league on a Junior Pee Wee team. Recently his coach held both its practices on the Jewish High Holy Day of Yom Kippur (Oct. 8-9). I was surprised that the coach would hold practice, given that our public schools were closed for the observance.
