      David W. Davison
            Mr., Davison, 83, of Manalapan died Aug. 31, 2008, at his family's home in Freehold, and had resided in Freehold before moving to Manalapan Township. A U.S. Merchant Marine veteran of World War II, he was a maintenance worker at the Monmouth County Detention Center, Freehold, where he was employed for 16 years before his retirement in 1993.

            Mr. Burke, 35, of Freehold Township, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin. He was born in Neptune and had resided in Howell before moving to Freehold Township. Mr. Burke was a graduate of Freehold Township High School. He is survived by his father, Kenneth R. Burke Sr., Freehold Township; his mother, Gale L. Narien, Ind.

      Elizabeth "Betty" Schram
            Mrs. Schram, 91, of Freehold, died Aug. 30, 2008, at Bartley Health Care, Jackson. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Schram was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Jerome E. Schram, in 1985; a granddaughter, Kate Caruso; sonsin law James Caruso and Charles Hayes; and sisters, Carol (Tiny) Wieser and Margie Walker.

            Mr. Grove, 96, of Applewood Estates, Freehold Township, died Sept. 2, 2008, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was an accountant for Harry M. Stevens Inc., New York City, where he was employed for 31 years before his retirement 32 years ago. His wife, Rhodajane Hudnut Grove, died in 1992. Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth H.       Sgt. Coleman S. Bean
            U.S. Army Sgt. Coleman S. Bean, 25, of East Brunswick died Sept. 6, 2008. Born in Wyoming, he was the son of Gregory and Linda Bean of East Brunswick. As a child, he lived with his family in Wyoming, Illinois and Massachusetts.
