ORT will host trip to Cape Cod in September
      ORT America, an organization for educational resources through technical training, will host a trip to Cape Cod, Sept. 7-11. Ferry tours to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard and a stop at Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut will be included in the itinerary. The cost of $617 (double occupancy) and $755 (single occupancy) will include four breakfasts and four dinners.

Military Retiree Appreciation Day Oct. 11
      Fort Monmouth Military Retiree Appreciation Day will be held at 9 a.m. Oct. 11 at Gibbs Hall, Fort Monmouth, Tinton Avenue, Eatontown. The event will feature a buffet lunch and door prizes. Guest speakers will be from Cecom-VFW-Paterson Health Clinic. There will also be representatives from various dental plans and veterans organizations.

Submit art exhibit proposals by Aug. 18
      VSA arts of New Jersey (VSA/NJ), New Brunswick, is holding a call for art for the Red Horse Gallery at Freehold Raceway Mall, in collaboration with The Arc of Monmouth County. Deadline for exhibit proposals is Aug. 18. Artists age 18 and older with disabilities are invited to gain exposure and sell art at the gallery, and all 2-D and 3-D media are accepted.
