Caregiver Volunteers will host annual gala Sept. 16

Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey a nonprofit agency will host its 16th annual Gala at the Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood, 6 p.m. Sept. 16. Honorees this year will be Sheriff William L. Polhemus and WOBM radio personality Kevin Williams.

The Garden State Philharmonic will perform at the event.

Tickets are $75 and all proceeds will go to support the Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey's mission to provide support to homebound, frail elderly residents of Ocean County with free transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, Alzheimer's respite programs and help with paperwork.
