Burnham lost out on a sterling opportunity when he delivered an ordinary major graduation ethics address several weeks ago that glossed over the trauma and tragedy of the 2005 Monmouth County governmental corruption scandal and failed to disclose why he was giving the speech in the first place.

            On a lovely evening in a moment of blissful ignorance, my husband and I took a charming stroll in our backyard. We enjoyed the birds, the flowers and nature in all of her splendor. "Look at that beautiful vine, will ya!" I exclaimed when I saw that a hardy plant was taking root all on its own.
