      Charles M. Truax
            Mr. Truax, 86, of Shrewsbury, died May 10, 2008, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He had resided in Tinton Falls and Long Branch before relocating to Shrewsbury. Before his retirement, Mr. Truax was the general manager at Olde Union House, Red Bank. Prior to that, he was general manager at several area restaurants.

            Mr. DiPippo, 91, of Asbury Park, died May 1, 2008, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a body man for Stateline Auto Body in North Vale. Mr. DiPippo was predeceased by his wife, Mary, in 2002.

            Mrs. Dyzenhaus, 84, died May 12, 2008, at BrookSide Assisted Living in Freehold. Born and raised in Poland, she was a Holocaust survivor, immigrating to the United States in 1949. Mrs. Dyzenhaus is survived by her husband of 67 years, Henry; two sons and daughters in-law,Alan andMaryann of Staten Island, N.Y.

            Mrs. Vitale, 93, ofWoodbridge, died May 8, 2008. She was born in Boston and lived in New York for many years. Upon her retirement, she resided in Gulfport, Fla., and most recently at St. Joseph's Senior Home Assisted Living in Woodbridge. Mrs. Vitale was a manicurist and colorist for local businesses in the New York area. She was predeceased by her first husband, Thomas J.

            Ms. Farley, 58, of Old Bridge, formerly of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died May 14, 2008, at home. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for 20 years as an administrator with Bristol-Myers Squibb, New Brunswick. After that, she worked for the township of Old Bridge for 14 years and at Sam's Club, East Brunswick, for 10 years.

      Cosimo "Sam" Gentile
            Mr. Gentile, 82, of Freehold, died May 15, 2008, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. A decorated U.S. Army veteran, he participated in the D-Day invasion of Normandy at Omaha Beach. Mr. Gentile was a bricklayer before starting a 25-year career with the City of New York as an expert witness in building codes and safety.

            Mr. Jacobs, 81, of Old Bridge, formerly of Spotswood, died May 13, 2008, in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1988, he was employed at the State Home for Boys (later the New Jersey Training School for Boys), Monroe, where he worked for 25 years. Surviving are his wife, Lee "Mimi"; two sons and daughters-in-law, the Rev.

            Mrs. Dunn, 67, of Freehold Township, died May 12, 2008, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Recently retired, she was a registered nurse and received a master's degree in business administration from Stockton State College.

      Harley J. Voshell
            Mr. Voshell, 63, of Freehold Township and formerly of Englishtown, died May 12, 2008, at home. He was a self-employed painter. Mr. Voshell was predeceased by a sister, Mary Voshell. Surviving are his wife, Marion Buonura Voshell; three daughters and sons-inlaw, Vivian and Kevin Pudder, Englishtown, Nancy and Stephen Hodi, Dickson, Tenn.

      Harvey Dobbs
            Mr. Dobbs, 54, of Manalapan, died May 11, 2008, at home. He is survived by his wife, Wendy; his mother, Jean; a daughter, Skylar; a son, Seth; and a sister, Darlene. A funeral service was held at the Freeman Funeral Home, Manalapan, followed by interment at Floral Park Cemetery, South Brunswick.
