      Jack J. Ricciardi
            Mr. Ricciardi, 82, of the Dayton section of South Brunswick, died May 6, 2008, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was employed as district director of immigration for New York with the U.S. Justice Department Special Strike Force, retiring in 1978. Prior to that, he was employed with the U.S. Border Patrol, Texas.

      Marjorie Klemas
            Mrs. Klemas, 91, of Marlboro, died April 18, 2008, in Monroe. She was predeceased by her husband, Seymour, and a son-in-law, martin Beja. Surviving are a son and daughter in-law, Stephen and Robin Klemas; a daughter, Linda Beja; a brother, Jerome Ezenbruck; a sister, Gertrude Ezenbruck; and four grandchildren.

      Edward Bridgeman
            Mr. Bridgeman, 86, of Freehold Township and formerly of East Brunswick and Manalapan, diedMay 2, 2008, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He served in the National Guard during World War II and retired from Sears, New Brunswick, where he was a salesman for more than 40 years. Mr. Bridgeman is survived by many friends.

      Alfred W. Schlechtweg Jr.
            Mr. Schlechtweg, 44, of Asbury Park and formerly of Manalapan, died May 4, 2008, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was a self-employed house cleaner. Mr. Schlechtweg was predeceased by his father, Alfred W. Sr., in 2002.

      Juliette L. Narunsky
            Mrs. Narunsky, 89, a resident ofManalapan since 1953, died May 8, 2008, at the Victoria House, Matawan. A civilian employee of Earle Naval Weapons Station during World War II, she and her husband owned Hamilton Pharmacy, Englishtown, for over 20 years. Mrs. Narunsky was also a bookkeeper for Hargil Plumbing Supply in Freehold, retiring 20 years ago.

            Mrs. Saker, 87, of Freehold, died May 6, 2008, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Along with her husband, Peter J. Saker Sr., she had worked in the family's construction business since 1956, when they moved to Freehold, until 1995. Mrs. Saker was predeceased by her husband in 1998. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Peter J. Saker Jr.

            Mr. Gambella, 83, of the Villages in Howell, died May 8, 2008. He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia, in 2005. Mr. Gambella is survived by his daughters, Patricia Musto of Manalapan andMaria Gorrin of Staten Island, N.Y.; a brother, Joseph; a sister, Anna Lipariti; and three grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Freeman Funeral Home, Manalapan.

            Mrs. Duke-Berkowitz, 95, of the Villages in Howell, died May 11, 2008, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. She was a clerk for the McGraw-Hill Publishing Co. in Manhattan before retiring in 1965. Mrs. Duke-Berkowitz was predeceased by her first husband, Thomas Duke, her second husband, Abraham Berkowitz; a son, Thomas Duke Jr.; and a sonin law, Joseph Godish.

            Mrs. Edmondson, 85, a lifelong resident of Freehold, died May 9, 2008, at St. Barnabas Hospice in Long Branch.After graduating from Syracuse University, she worked as a research analyst for Bell Laboratories in Holmdel for more than 40 years before retiring 20 years ago. Mrs. Edmondson was predeceased by her husband, Arthur, in 1992.

            Mr. Anton, 75, of Manalapan, died May 10, 2008, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Anton was treasurer of the Independent Insurance Agents ofAmerica, NewYork City, for 20 years and was later treasurer of the American Heart Association, Edison.

            Mrs. Conover, 97, died May 7, 2008, at Shorrock Gardens Care Center, Brick. Born in Freehold, she had lived all of her life in Lakewood and Howell before moving to Brick n 2002. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Conover, in 1987.

      William L. Sapp Jr.
            Mr. Sapp, 73, of Howell, died May 7, 2008, at CentraStateMedical Center, Freehold Township. He was a former owner of Edison Sunoco and retired in 1987 from Krauszer's Dairy, Edison, after 25 years. Mr. Sapp is survived by two sons, Keith Sapp and his wife, Martha, of Columbus and William L. Sapp III of Dover, Del.; a daughter, Karen Krywy of Hampstead, N.C.
