      Salvatore "Sal" Scavone Jr.
            Mr. Scavone, 61, of Sayreville, diedApril 13, 2008, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He resided in Edison prior to relocating to Sayreville 33 years ago. He and his wife co-owned Bridge Liquors, Sayreville, for 27 years, retiring in 2003. He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Ronald Gaboury.

      Harry Brachfeld
            Mr. Brachfeld, 93, of Freehold, died April 7, 2008, in Paradise Valley, Ariz. A decorated Army veteran of WWII, he was a self-employed butcher and meat dealer with City Line Meat Marker, Floral Park, N.Y., for more than 33 years, retiring in 1980. He was predeceased by his brother, Milton.

      Frances Helen Zabriskie
            Mrs. Zabriskie, 95, ofManalapan, diedApril 8, 2008, at CentraStateMedical Center in Freehold. She lived in Hudson County before moving to Manalapan a year ago. Mrs. Zabriskie was predeceased by her husband, Paul in 1988. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Carolyn of Manalapan; two granddaughters; and four great grandchildren.

      Patricia C. Hauke
            Mrs. Hauke, 58, of Freehold Township, died April 10, 2008, at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York City. She was a teacher for the Perth Amboy Board of Education and a graduate of Monmouth University. Surviving are her husband, Gregory; a son, Michael; a daughter, Amy; a brother, Daniel Gray; and a sister, Linda Millet.

            Mr. Leidy, 73 of Jackson, and formerly of Freehold and Old Bridge, died April 12, 2008, at home. He served in the U.S. Army and was a supervisor and manager in various manufacturing industries before retiring. Mr. Leidy is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carol; two sons, Richard Leidy and Raymond Kurtze of Tucson, Ariz.

            Mrs. DiGregorio, 88, of Farmingdale, and formerly of Colts Neck and Englishtown, died April 11, 2008, at Jersey Shore UniversityMedical Center, Neptune. She and her husband, Giacinto, operated Twin Pond Farms, Farmingdale, until her retirement. Mrs. Di- Gregorio was predeceased by her husband; two brothers, Dominick and Frank Luccarelli; and a sister, Lillian Gentile.

            Mr. Ingram, 93, of Freehold, died April 11, 2008, at home. He began working as a groomsman for racehorses for the Chappel family in 1948, and spent the remainder of his career working for Harold Dancer until retiring in 1980. He was predeceased by his wife, Lois Louise Long Ingram; a daughter, Hattie C. Ingram; a son, Sylvester Ingram; a great-grandson, Julian T.

            Mrs. Perdek, 74, of The Villages, Howell, and formerly of Freehold and Manalapan, died April 11, 2008, at home. She was employed at the Peddie School, Hightstown for 20 years before retiring in 1999. Mrs. Perdek was predeceased by her husband, Edward S. Perdek, in 2004; two brothers, John and Thomas O'Donnell; and a sister,Mildred O'Donnell.

      Wanda Bernice Janczewska
            Mrs. Janczewska, 94, of Howell, died April 13, 2008, at the Freehold home of her son and daughter-in-law, Stosh and Deanie Janczewski. She was born in Chicago and lived in Poland until moving back to the United States and settling in Howell in 1947.Mrs. Janczewska was a seamstress in Freehold and Howell until her retirement from Loyal Cloak, Howell.
