      George Malachy Beros
            Mr. Beros, 83, of Whiting, died April 10, 2008, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He was a clerk at JPMorgan Chase, New York City, for more than 20 years, retiring in 1990. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Letitia; three daughters and sons-in-law, Veronica and Joseph Margagliotti of Middletown, Anne-Marie Bennett and Bob Raser of Milford, Pa.

      Ruth "Ruthy" Ash
            Mrs. Ash, 83, of Manalapan died March 31, 2008, at home. She lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., until moving to Manalapan in 1999. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack, in 1993. Surviving are a daughter, Joanne Pfeffer; a son-in-law, Stuart Pfeffer; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Kessler, all ofManalapan. Funeral services were held at Beth Moses Cemetery, Long Island, N.Y.

He was a personal financial specialist the past 10 years, and retired CPAfor 30 years with his last position at a NewYork City firm.             Mr. Polon, 76, of Freehold Township and formerly of East Brunswick, died April 6, 2008, at home. He earned his law degree at Seton Hall University, and practiced in the area for more than 30 years, serving on the planning and environmental boards of Freehold Township.
