      Rebels' lacrosse has mix of vets, newcomers
            Howell begins the lacrosse season with a couple of things working for the Rebels. First, the Rebels return a solid nucleus of experience players to build around, and secondly, three of the key players - Kyle Marlborough, Joe Sabatello and Chris Puglisi - were starters on the football team that won the Central Jersey Group IV state championship back in December.

            The Freehold Area Running Club is hosting the Jack Kuhnert Memorial Scholarship 5K Run on May 11 at Michael Tighe Park, Georgia Road, Freehold Township. The race will go off at 10 a.m. All proceeds from the event benefit the Jack Kuhnert Scholarship Fund and is distributed to needy students in Freehold Borough and Freehold Township High School.
