Once again, Frank Argote- Freyre rallies to the aid of illegal aliens (coyly referring to them as "immigrants"), placing their wellbeing above those of American citizens ("Federal 287(g) Program Would Not Be Constructive Action," News Transcript, Letters to the Editor, April 2). More ... Iam writing in response to the comments of Frank Argote-Freyre disparaging the proposal of Richard Kelsey that Freehold Borough adopt the federal program 287(g). Mr. Argote- Freyre's comments in the form of a letter to the editor were recently published in your newspaper under the headline "Federal 287(g) Program Would Not Be Constructive Action. More ... As a survivor of congenital heart defect, double bypass open-heart surgery at age 42, and an American Heart Association Go Red for Women survivor ambassador, I'm one of the fortunate ones. Heart disease and stroke claim the lives of nearly 14,000 New Jersey women annually. Too many mothers, sisters, daughters and friends die annually from these diseases. More ... Ithink it is a tremendous embarrassment that the people of the state of New Jersey could be so very egotistical and arrogant as to think that it is not important to have one and one-half thousandths of a percent (.0015 percent) of the state's budget dedicated to a department of agriculture. More ... Iam asking every citizen who wants our troops to come home from Iraq now to place a sign on their front lawn or in their window that reads "Support Our Troops, Bring Them Home NOW!"
