CHRIS KELLY staff Monmouth University's Jared Mazur of Sayreville, Christian Mambelli of Sea Bright, and Eric Mikos of Old Bridge ride into the park at Lake Topanemus, Pond Road, Freehold Township, to help with the annual cleanup of the facility on April 5. The three young men are members of the new Monmouth University Cycling Club, which is a competitive-recreational cycling group whose members participate in environmental activities. Mazur, Mambelli and Mikos rode to Freehold Township from the university's campus in West Long Branch.
