Mary K. Valenta
      Mrs. Valenta, of Howell Township, died Feb. 12, 2008, at the Manor Care Center, Freehold Township. She was 89. Mrs. Valenta was born in New York City and resided there before moving to the Freehold area in 1977. She was a bookkeeper for the Downtown Association in the City of New York for 14 years before retiring in 1984. Mrs.

William "Bill" Cannon
      Mr. Cannon, 68, ofMonroe, Ga., and formerly of Freehold Township and Carlsbad, Calif., died Thanksgiving morning 2007 after a long battle with prostate cancer. A former U.S. Air Force pilot, Mr. Cannon had been retired from Trans World Airlines since 1988.
