Freehold Knights of Columbus plans Kids Day
      The Knights of Columbus Council 1672 will open its Council Hall at 70 E. Main St. in Freehold Feb. 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for its second annual Kids Day.       "Water is Life" is the theme for the 2008 poster contest sponsored by the Freehold Soil Conservation District and the New JerseyAssociation of Conservation Districts. Students in second through 12th grade in Middlesex and Monmouth counties are encouraged to explore how important water is in our everyday lives- in homes, schools, farms, parks, communities, etc.

      The Monmouth County 4-H Horsin' Around club invites youth to join the club, which meets at Free Spirit Farm, Route 527 Siloam Road, Freehold Township. The club meets the second Saturday of each month from 2 to 4 p.m. No prior equestrian experience is necessary.
