Manalapan tree-recycling effort had good participation in first year
      On behalf of the Manalapan Environmental Commission, we want to thank all those who made Mulchfest '08 such a success by bringing their Christmas trees to the Department of Public Works for mulching. Your efforts saved 150 trees from being landfilled and also saved the town a few bucks in dumping fees.

Officials have made a consistent effort to improve Freehold Borough
      We heartily endorse the comments made by Mayor Michael Wilson at his inauguration on Jan. 6, 2008, that Freehold Borough is "worth fighting for." Also, it is not surprising that Mayor Wilson has been recognized for his leadership for 23 years as mayor.
