      Edith Pilcher

      Mrs. Pilcher, 91, ofMillstone Township, died Nov. 22, 2007, at home. Born in Plainfield, she had resided in Freehold Township before moving to Millstone 51 years ago. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Pilcher was a registered nurse in the Trenton area. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church, Freehold. Mrs. Pilcher was predeceased by a son, Paul, in 1967, her husband, Robert, in 1976, and a sister, Charlotte Piercy, in 1963. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert and Donna Pilcher of Millstone, John and Barbara Pilcher of North Carolina, and Edward Pilcher of North Carolina; a daughter and sonin law, Mary and Fred Walter of Whiting; two sisters, Elizabeth Real and Gertrude Warner; 12 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held at the Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township. Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
