      Resident questions firm's billing practices
            Iam writing to let your readers know about the questionable billing practices of the Gordons Corner Water Company (GCWC), a regulated utility based in Marlboro (billing outsourced to Charlotte, N.C., and Philadelphia, Pa.). GCWC in theory gives customers 23 days to pay bills on time, from bill origination to payment due date. Yet this time frame continues to shrink.

      A community can help state's newest drivers realize that they are not invincible
            Never has the now-overused quote, "It takes a village" been more appropriate regarding the subject of new teen drivers. Perhaps the psyche of these drivers needs review to discover why they keep blowing off the new rules and regulations adopted for their own safety. It is hard to appeal to individuals who have such great belief in their own invincibility.

      Renewed symphony looking forward to next performance
            Thank you to the Manalapan Township Committee for your continued support of the Manalapan Symphony Orchestra. When the conductor of the Manalapan Battleground Symphony resigned last May, I was not willing to let the symphony die.
