      Barbara Hansen
            Mrs. Hansen, 75, of Freehold, died Oct. 31, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Rahway and had resided in Keyport and Matawan before moving to Freehold in 1965. A graduate of Keyport High School, Mrs. Hansen was employed at Van's Freehold Inn from 1970 to 1989. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Freehold.

      Beatrice Phyllis Wolfbein Shteir
            Mrs. Shteir, 87, of Nashville, Tenn., died Dec. 1, 2007, in Nashville. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had resided in the Smithburg section of Freehold Township before moving to Nashville seven years ago. Mrs. Shteir was a bookkeeper for Landau Publishing Co., New York City, and also worked in the Smithburg General Store.

            Mrs. Longo, 78, of Middletown, died Nov. 9, 2007, at Gateway Care Center, Eatontown. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided there, Staten Island, N.Y., and Red Bank, prior to relocating to Middletown. She was an executive secretary at Lehman Brothers, New York City, for 20 years, retiring in 1994. She enjoyed cooking Italian food.

            Mrs. Oliver, 90, of Colts Neck, died Nov. 6, 2007, at home. She was born in Decker, Ind., on Dec. 14, 1916, and had lived in Colts Neck for the past seven years. Mrs. Oliver earned a degree in library science from Indiana University, Bloomington. She was a grade-school teacher and children's librarian in Wayne Township in Indianapolis.

            Mr. Olmo, 69, of Toms River, died Nov. 8, 2007, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was born in Manhattan, N.Y., and had lived in Bergen County before moving to Toms River in 1996. Prior to retiring in 1995, Mr. Olmo was a supervisor for the Maxwell House Division of General Foods Corp., Hoboken, for more than 25 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

      Oscar Alfred Niederman
            Mr. Niederman, 90, of Benton, Ark., formerly of Freehold, died Nov. 21, 2007. He was born in New Brunswick on May 6, 1917, to Gertrude and Morris Niederman and had lived in Freehold until about a year ago. Prior to retiring, Mr. Niederman owned and operated his own television and stereo business. He was predeceased by a son, Ronald, and two brothers.
