      Joan K. Healy
            Mrs. Healy, 71, of Monroe, formerly of Old Bridge, died Nov. 7, 2007, at home. A journalist, she had been employed with Greater Media Newspapers, Freehold, in its East Brunswick office, and, more recently, with the Home News Tribune, East Brunswick. Prior to beginning a career in journalism, she was a substitute teacher with the Old Bridge public school system.

      Raymond J. "Butch" Pinto Jr.
            Mr. Pinto, 66, of Long Branch, died Oct. 27, 2007, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Neptune Township, he was raised in Freehold, and resided in Sea Bright, Oceanport, prior to relocating to Long Branch. He was a master mechanic, and owned and operated several auto body shops in Freehold before retirement. He is survived by his fiancée, Carolyn E.

      Ruby Marjorie Layton
            Mrs. Layton, 77, of Howell, died Oct. 30, 2007, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. She was a lifelong resident of Howell and a homemaker. Mrs. Layton is survived by her husband of 57 years, John Layton; a son, John Layton Jr. of Howell; a daughter, Janet Layton of Howell; a brother, James; three sisters, Virginia, Mary and Jean; and two grandchildren.

            Mrs. Toth, 77, of Manalapan, died Oct. 31, 2007, at home. She was born in Perth Amboy and had resided in Manalapan for the past 73 years.             Mrs. Hansen, 75, of Freehold, died Oct. 31, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Rahway and had resided in Keyport and Matawan before moving to Freehold in 1965. A graduate of Keyport High School, Mrs. Hansen was employed at Van's Freehold Inns from 1970 to 1989. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Freehold.

Born in Bayonne, she had lived in Union for many years before moving to Freehold 20 years ago. Mrs. Kersen was a secretary for the Kramer Body & Equipment Co., Hillside. She was predeceased in 1973 by her husband of 25 years, Elbert Kersen.

            Mrs. Kandybowicz, 81, of Farmingdale, died Nov. 3, 2007, at Bartley Healthcare Nursing & Rehabilitation, Jackson.             Mr. Obuchowicz, 83, of The Villages, Fla., died Nov. 3, 2007, in Florida. Born in Union Beach, he had resided in Marlboro for many years before moving to The Villages in 2006. Mr. Obuchowicz had worked as a technician for Bell Labs and had also owned Cofax TV. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion post in Union Beach.
