      The best defense against MRSA is prevention
            If you read the daily newspaper, chances are good you'll find a new story of another student diagnosed with methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA. Several deaths have been reported and schools are closing to disinfect their facilities as more cases are diagnosed.

      Good things expected from new administration
            Marlboro did itself proud in this year's municipal election, giving us a principled and dynamic new mayor and two outstanding new Township Council members. Jon Hornik, Frank LaRocca and Randi Marder represent the best in us, and they will concentrate on being leaders who will put the community before themselves.

      Mayor is taking action to aid Freehold Borough residents
            Iwas very disappointed to read the Nov. 7 Your Turn guest column, "Mayor's Missteps Over Years Have Hurt Freehold Borough" by Virginia resident Richard Kelsey. This is a cold slap in the face of the voters of Freehold Borough, who only one day before reelected Mayor Michael Wilson and councilmen Kevin Kane and Jaye Sims to brand new terms.
