      Critic should direct his anger at federal government, not Freehold
            It was with a great deal of dismay that I read Richard Kelsey's latest diatribe published in the News Transcript on Nov. 7. Although I like Rich Kelsey and I respect him for voicing his opinions, I vehemently disagree with the vitriol expressed in his guest column.

      Letter misstated the facts about Knob Hill situations
            Ihave no choice but to respond to Allison Teplitzky's letter that appeared in the News Transcript on Oct. 31 ("Residents Were Spoken to With Derision"). First, the meeting (at Knob Hill Country Club) that you referred to in September was not a board meeting.

      Management group responds to Knob Hill residents
            It is sad that one must blame others when he loses an election. Signature Property Group did nothing but follow the directions of the Board of Trustees and our attorneys. Lou Newman suggested we have a closed ballot, the board voted and approved this. He then proceeded to bring in open ballots, without envelopes and balked because they could not be counted.

            First, where do I begin? It was only a short time ago that I received a call on a Friday night to serve on the Borough Council. I finally decided to do so and with that I am glad I did. The gentleman who called me that night is a fine person.

      Former board president did a fine job for Knob Hill
            This letter is in response to a letter written by Allison Teplitzky ("Residents Were Spoken to With Derision," Letters to the Editor, News Transcript, Oct. 31). As a resident of Knob Hill for six years, how appalling to read Ms. Teplitzky's comments attacking our former board president, Lou Newman.
