Saturday's Shore Conference Championships at Brick Memorial High School was the first meeting of the year between two of the state's elite teams that had won its respective division titles (A North, Howell and B South, RBC) and had undefeated dual meet campaigns. Friday night's game in Brick Township could very well determine which of the two teams will make the eight-team field for the Central Jersey Group IV playoffs. More ... What 110 minutes of soccer couldn't do, a shoot-out did. That is, decide a winner between Brookdale Community College's women's soccer team and Ocean County Community College's team. The two teams, which have been nationally ranked this year, played to a scoreless tie through 90 minutes of regulation and two 10-minute overtimes. More ...
