      A bomb threat caused Marlboro police to close Home Depot in the Cambridge Square shopping center, Route 9 north and Union Hill Road, on Aug. 22. On the day of the incident Marlboro police Lt. Steve Mennona confirmed that a bomb threat had been made that morning at Home Depot.

Freehold teenager will compete in pageant
      Lindsay Markel, 13, daughter of Adam and Randi Markel of Freehold Township, has been selected to represent New Jersey at the 2007 Miss American Preteen Pageant. As the New Jersey Preteen, Lindsay will be attending the national pageant for her age group in Florida and Disney World during the week of Thanksgiving.
