Line-dancing classes offered to senior citizens
      Free line-dancing classes are being offered to members of the Manalapan Senior Center starting on Monday, Sept. 10. Classes will be held on Mondays from 11 a.m. to noon and are taught by dance instructor Leslie Clare. Clare teaches line dancing at several senior centers throughout Monmouth County and is looking forward to working with the Manalapan seniors.

Women's club to host ice-cream social, Sept. 10
      Marlboro and Shrewsbury-area dog lovers are invited to celebrate their bond with their pets at a local "Dog Day Fun Fest," Sept. 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in observance of the American Kennel Club's (AKC) Responsible Dog Ownership Day. The free event is hosted by Best Friends Pet Care, 234 Boundry Road, Building No. 3, Marlboro, in conjunction with the AKC.
