Photo contest accepting entries through Sept. 17
      If you like to photograph subjects such as nature, landscapes, natural resources, agriculture, or people interacting with the environment, waterscapes or wildlife then the Freehold Soil Conservation District has a photo contest for you. The district is looking for photos that promote the beauty and uniqueness of the natural environments found in Middlesex and Monmouth counties.

Film at temple depicts unique relationship
      Temple Beth Ahm, 550 Lloyd Road, Aberdeen, will be showing a film Aug. 26 at 7 p.m. about the current relationship between Helen Rosenzweig and Monika Hertwig. Rosenzweig is a Holocaust survivor, saved by Oscar Schindler, and she worked in the home of Amon Goeth, who was the monstrous commandant of the Plaszow concentration camp.
