      Marlboro brothers make fencing their sport
            Each of the six schools in the Freehold Regional High School District offers students an extensive list of sports to take part in. But when Carl Goldfarb entered Marlboro High School in 2003, he had just one sport he wanted to participate in - fencing - which is not only unavailable in Marlboro, but is not offered in any Central or South Jersey high school.

      DiLeo scores win at JGA tour stop held on Cranbury Golf Course
            Manalapan's Patrick DiLeo carded a 77 to win the Junior Golf America (JGA) tournament played at the Cranbury Golf Course. DiLeo, who will be a junior at Manalapan High School in the fall, topped the 16-18-year-old Master's Division of the JGA field by four strokes to pick up the win last week.

            Matt Watson was one excited baseball player driving up to western Massachusetts last week. For the former Howell High School star, it represented yet another step forward on his comeback trail. He had received a call from the North Adams Steeplecats, telling him they needed his pitching services for the rest of the season.
